4S Ranch real estate consists of nearly 3,000 acres of land between Black Mountain and Lake Hodges, just west of the 15 freeway in northern San Diego County. The master plan for the community includes about a dozen distinct neighborhoods, each with its own unique design and architectural themes. The plan also sets aside over half of the total acreage for parks and wildlife preserves.

The 4S Ranch developments are all connected by a central parkway with tree-lined boulevards. In the center of all of the communities is the 4S Commons, a dining and retail district with office space and apartment living. The concept for the 4S community is one of small town living, where residents can raise families and socialize together.

4S Ranch real estate lists at a wide range of prices to accommodate prospective owners at different financial levels. All 4S Ranch homes come wired for high-speed internet access and are connected to the local community through 4S Connect, the local intranet service. Residents can send each other messages and announcements, and receive notices on community activities and retail events.

4S Ranch real estate in several neighborhoods has sold quickly and new neighborhoods are constantly under construction. Prospective buyers can view model homes in the newest developments and see what is coming in the next wave of construction. The Ranch will not expand forever, though, so check it out sooner rather than later.
